Hey, just bought a new WD 1tb blue hdd, and a kingston a400 ssd. Came home today, installed them both, installed windows from usb to my ssd, upon going into my folders, i realized, that the WD hdd doesnt show up, so i went to disk management, initialized the drive, made a simple new volume, but the disk management just froze. After like 3 minutes it just closed, so i tought that it is done. Went into my files, still couldnt see it. So I tought, maybe i need a restart. When i restarted it, it was sitting on post error A9 for quite some time, then went past BIOS screen, had the loading circle for 10 more minutes, then it booted into windows. Still couldn't see the drive, did a scan in the WD diagnostic tool and it gave me this. https://prnt.sc/lct4mx went to crystaldiskinfo, https://prnt.sc/lct7wy . The drive is literally just out of the package... Should i return it?

Sorry for the double post, but what the heck. Right when i post the answer i get the notification sound from crystaldisk, and it looks like its fixed.. still doesnt show up in my files, but does show up in disk management.
EDIT: in disk management i pressed make new simple volume, now the disk management is not responding, for 10 mins already, will wait more.
EDIT 2 : I've gotten this far https://prnt.sc/lctyoh and it wont let me format it, just says error, format could not be completed. Also any action i do with it is super slow, like assigning the letter, cleaning it in diskpart.. any ideas?

Alright, will return it tomorrow, going to see what the store says.. It couldn't be my fault right?

Drives should work everywhere except under water.

Now I am aware that the scope of human error is unlimited. However, in this case and based on the limited facts you present, I encourage you to insist on a replacement drive with very good cause.
