So i am getting a warning when looking at the SMART values in Aida 64 under the data section it lists a value of 8. that was my old OS drive and i have moved to a SSD. i did not have aida 64 at the time but before formatting it seemed like everything was fine.
Furthermore, with the Western Digital Data Lifeguard software, i did an extended test and i got a passing result.
While reading on threads i have read about "zero fill" as well as remapping. not sure how to perform these and if it will help. Also since there are different reports i want to know which one is correct.
Are there any good free programs i can try to cross reference this and is there a fix since it seems like the bad sector count is relatively low
Please let me know what i should do as the drive is only 2 years old and has not been heavily used.
