Wd 500gb repair disk

I have an external WD 500GB hard drive that stopped working. When I run the Windows check (CHKDSK /F /R) it started working but I can only see 10% of my data, and even the visible 10% of the data is not working. When I run CHKDSK /F /R both from command prompt and windows, it is taking too much time with out accomplishing any thing, is there any thing that I can do to fix my disk and recover my data.

GetBackData for NTFS

IF it is spinning and does NOT have crashed heads, it will let you see everything there.

Best bet, get a different enclosure of put it directly into your system to do this.
