WD Black 1TB NVMe and ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E

Hello, I just got my WD Black 1TB NVMe today (WDS100T2X0C) and I have connected it into my M.2_1 slot on my STRIX Z370-E motherboard, the bios seems to detect but I can't see it in file explorer or download anything to it. Help.

Does it appear in Disk Management? Like any hard drive you may have to format the drive and assign a letter to it first to get it to work.
