I have an Acer E5-571P. When using my laptop for many day-to-day tasks, I find myself running really slow. I'm already getting another 4GB RAM stick to help out, but task manager keeps reporting that disk usage is at 95-100%. As I'm also running low on space I thought I would bite the bullet and get an upgrade for my HDD as well.

In my research I've stumbled upon two drives that both look like they'd offer a significant improvement. The [urlExt=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178340&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=ppssHybridHDD-_-22-178-340-_-Product]Seagate Hybrid SSHD 1TB[/urlExt] and the [urlExt=http://smile.amazon.com/Black2-Dual-Drive-2-5-WD1001X06XDTL/dp/B00GSJ9X4Q/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t]Western Digital Black2 Dual Drive[/urlExt]. In terms of real world performance increase, which is going to be better? Is the Black2 worth the extra $50? Are there any other better options I should look at? Thanks in advance for your help.

You decide.
Samsung SSHD has 4 or 8gb of Nand used only to cache frequently used files on the HDD portion of the drive. It shows up as a single drive as you have not control over what it decides to cache besides launching the file/app repeatedly.

WD Black 2 has 120gb SSD plus an HDD poortion. It shows up as two drives and you have complete control over the ssd portion just as if it was a physically separate drive.
