WD Black or Green for Reliability and long life

Looking for a 2-3 TB HD for storage only.
I notice that the Greens are much cheaper. But has a 2yr Warranty compared to 5 for Blacks.

What is more reliable and has longer life span.

The warranty says it all. Western Digital Black drives are their performance and reliable line, while the Greens are "cheap" storage. If you want something to last a while then look at the warranty.
