[SOLVED] WD Black SN750 1TB Slow write speed

Hello.

I installed a new WD Black SN750 1TB on my desktop. And I checked the speed.

The result is below. I think max speed is fine, but 4KiB is very slow especially write speed. I don't know what is the problem.

The SSD is installed on Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3(Ryzen 5 1600X) and I installed another 3 SSDs on motherboard.

Yeah, looks like something is siphoning off from your 4K writes. Can determine if it's software by testing in Safe Mode.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't think about testing on safe mode.
I have tested on safe mode.

On safe mode, the 4KiB write speed appears about two times faster than normal windows mode. So, is this caused by my windows system? And are these speeds normal?

Your safe mode results are what you should be getting all the time, yeah. It means software of some sort - an application or driver - is interfering with 4K writes. An example would be a backup agent (e.g. Acronis), Anti-Virus, things along those lines.

Windows is almost always doing something with your drive. Run Resource monitor and hit the Disk tab to take a peek.
