I'm looking for a 1Tb secondary drive for my PC which will be used for games and local storage (I have my Win10 and apps on a 240Gb Samsung 850 evo SSD and I also run a 3TB WD Red-based NAS for media storage/sharing and other backups, so 1Tb in the PC itself is enough for me I think).
Here in the UK the prices are (Amazon)
1Tb WD Black WD1003FZEX £58
1Tb WD Blue WD10EZEX £40
So is the Black worth almost 50% more?
Is there any more to it than a longer warranty and slightly better performance (with more noise) which I'll rarely see in the real world?
I've never used either, my current secondary drive is a 500Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 from 2011, so any advice from those who have experience of both of those would be most welcome
