What would be a Better hard drive at the moment i have a western digital blue 7200rpm 500gb 6gb/s drive ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136769 )

Was thinking of upgrading to a Western digital black 1.5TB ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136793 )

Or western digital VelociRaptor 450gb i know its a lot smaller ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136557 )

Wanted to know which one would be faster i how loud they are and what is the better drive all around was also going to add a small 60-120gb SSD for my OS and such and put music / games and stuff on the other drive please tell me if you have any advice on doing that.

in my 2 units I have SSD's and WD 10K VelociRaptors in them.
one also have a third HDD a Barracuda in one of them too.

the WD Veloci 10K is of course faster than the WD DB 7.2K.
and the VelociRaptor is a quiet 2.5" in a adapter kit for 3.5" drives spaces.

right now the prices off HDD are more ratio wise than SSD's, it's crazy.
gonna be like that for the rest of the year.

with a SSD the you can get away with the WD DB (digital blue) and just leave the WD 10K VelociRaptor alone.

60GB SSD is enough for OS and a few important apps, 7.6 WEI
90GB better (as bigger is better with SSD) and score 7.7
and so on.

then create folders on the HDD (digital blue or velociraptor) and use those folders as installs for other software including games.
SSD for you OS, security suite and so on.

Should i wait to get better HDD and stick with my blue for a while and a small ssd since the price is high atm i know at one point a 1 tb wd black was $70 and now its around $160 dont really know why.
