I got a wd 3tb blue yesterday, I noticed one of the mounting holes is damaged and I was like whatever, so when I mounted it and screwed it in the case it made a weird beeping noise and won't be recognized by bios, so after inspection I decided to remove the screw from the damaged hole, and hdd worked flawlessly but after I put another screw in the same hole, it misbehaved like before, so when I removed the screw again, my hdd worked again, should I be worried? would screwing a damaged mounting hole cause the hdd to behave like this?
