WD blue HDD not working

good evening
i have a WesternDigital blue 750 GB notebook Hdd
its divided into 3 partition, 293 GB for each .... the hard disk is not working now , i replace it with a new one and the old one i connected it to an enclosure to scan it on another laptop ,, every time i connect it , the computer start to become real slow and i cant do anything with the Hdd .. even when i open the my computer it keep on waiting(displaying the external hdd drives) , two of them displayed but when i click on any of them it
and nothing happened ..... i try many recovery programs , Ebcd
and nothing worked
any help guyz ?

Sorry to hear about your WD Blue drive!
I suggest you test your this drive with Data LifeGuard Diagnostics and perform an Extended test on it:

I think you might be struggling with reallocated, pending or just bad sectors.
If you can access the drive in the Disk Management tool in Windows, can you please tell me what does it say about the drive?
Have you tried checking it with Command prompt?
If not, I'd do it as soon as I'm done with the DLG testing. You just need to run cmd (as administrator) and type chkdsk x: /r (where x should be substituted with the drive letter of the drive you want to scan. This will detect the bad sectors and fix them.

It sounds like the drive may be affected by the "WD slow issue".

Essentially the "fix" modifies one byte in one particular firmware module (MOD 02).

first : i tried the Data Lifeguard Diagnostics but the status even fail to read the hard disk
and the Disk Management tool keeps Connecting and nothing happen
and i tried to check the 3 partitions with /f and /r
the problem still on
but when i was using Parted Magic to fix it or use recovery it takes a long time with a few correct results
i think im facing the other reply problem , but in the link i couldnt knew how to solve it

I'm sorry you are experiencing such problems with the WD Blue! 🙁
Can you please tell of you can see the drive in the BIOS?
If you can, I'd suggest to download the DOS version of Data Lifeguard to test it.
You need to make a bootable USB stick with this version and try to access the drive from there.
If the problem persists, your other choice is to RMA the drive and maybe get a replacement.
All you need to do is check your warranty status and start the RMA from there:

It has come to my attention that the demo version of WDMarvel does not "deal with slow responding". However the paid version costs $9 for a one-month licence or $100 for an unlimited licence.
