Question WD Blue M.2 SSD not detected by ASRock B450 Pro

My ASRock B450 Pro motherboard doesn't detect the WD Blue 500gb M.2 SSD I have recently purchased even though it is supported. I looked through my Bios settings but can't find anything. I have installed windows onto another normal SSD but I'm not sure how to fix this M.2 SSD. Thanks for any help!

I would start with taking the SSD out and reattach it. You might not have gotten it installed correctly.

I did that but windows still doesn't detect anything. I have tried the Ultra M.2 port and the M2_2 port that supports SATA which would have made sense, but still no.

Was it detected by your BIOS this time?

Is either sata port 3 or 4 in use?
Only M2_2 supports a Sata drive.

*M2_2, SATA3_3, and SATA3_4 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled.
