WD Caviar Black not recognised

Hi I just installed a new WD Caviar Black 1TB HDD into my pc, did a Windows reinstall, but it is not recognised by windows. Intel Rapid Storage Tech does recognise it, BIOS too. I cant use Windows Disk Management to format or do anything with it. Any solutions ?

Have you double checked all of the connections (power and data) both on the motherboard and drive?

sorry, i can't fully understand your question, do you have 2 hard drives?

i cant understand how the OS cant recognize the drive in which it is installed on.

I have fixed thanks to a video. In disc management the space was unallocated, i jsut did a quick format, assigned a drive letter, name. Thats it! and btw the windows isnt installed on it, its on a ssd.
