WD Elements in Disk Management but not visible in My Documents

Hi, My hard drive WD Elements does not show in My Documents.
It shows in Disk Management, it is partitioned, but I cannot click on "assign a letter to the drive".
I have only used it once to store some pictures... It cannot be broken right??
Is there something else I can try?
