WD Elements Not Working

Hey, i had a problem with my WD elements storage device 500GB portable, but i fixed it, TEMPORARILY. I have it for games that my laptop. (Razer Blade 14 inch Windows 10) My laptop just does not have much space for all my Steam games. So i bought a 500GB storage device. It says, D/ drive location cannot be found please make sure its plugged in. It still works on other computers but not on mine, please help me I really want to play games. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the WD Elements drive. 🙁 I'd suggest you to back up any data on the drive elsewhere before proceeding with the troubleshooting. It's not really advisable to use an external HDD for gaming, so it's better to have a back up of any important data that you have there.
Since the drive is working properly on other computers, you might want to try uninstalling it from Device Manager (You can use this tutorial: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725782.aspx )
Another thing you should do is check for any updates on the USB drivers for your laptop's model on the manufacturer's website.

If none of these help, I'd recommend contacting our technical support for assistance. Windows 10 might be having trouble recognizing the drive.
