WD Enterprise equivalents?

Hey all,

I am currently looking at high reliability HDD's and I was just wondering, what offerings from other HDD companies offer the same 'class' of HDD as WDC's Enterprise RE4 line?

So far I have only seen Seagate's Enterprise and Toshiba's Harrier line, anything I have missed?

I am looking for a capacity of around 3TB, as that seems to be the best price per GB of all the available capacities.

Do they perform similarly in terms of reliability?

I prefer having a lower rate of failure rate in general, as it is to my belief that no amount of warranty will save data from being lost, and replacing a drive is trivial compared to replacing the data.

Lastly, do these drives only come in internal HDD solutions, or are there external versions (connection via USB etc) available?
