Please help my WD ext HDD was having I/o error I tried with minitool 7.5 now and was not successful previously it was showing 1.88tb but now it shows 0 and also not showing in device manager it shows only in disk management and minitool partion recovery software shows nothing

If it's raw the data is most likely gone and unless you have a backup, isn't coming back.

You could try a recovery tool like EaseUS but I'm doubtful it'll work in your case.

As WD external drives are encrypted within their enclosures, unfortunately we can also toss ideas of disassembling it and inserting the bare drive into any sort of docking mechanism. 🙁

Depending on the degree of importance (a true value analysis!), you could consult with $300 Data Recovery and get their opinions first, as they specialize in this sort of thing....

You can't from my knowledge.

RAW is not a partition. It's just raw... there's nothing there.

You'll need to format it using disk management by right-clicking the raw sector and click 'New Simple Volume'

Here's the other thread of this drive. Try to keep it to one thread, it's neater and means those who help get the full picture.

Now looking at your other thread here I/O Error thread, I'd say that the drive is likely cactus and has completely failed. You may be able to get data back but it generally isn't cheap and you'll need to send off the drive.
