WD extern HD corrupt

Hi all

Last week my external HD stared acting annoying, I can't copy any files from nor too it and my saved apps and files won't work for some reason. I tried "error repair" but then it got stuck halfway through (every time). It sucks pretty much cuze all my backups (and games, movies,...) are stored there.
Btw it's a Plug&Play USB 2.0 1000GB WD Elements HD , which I always handled correctly.

It is probably failing at a Hardware Level. Try testing it with HD Tune to see if and what type of hardware issues it may be suffering from.
