WD external hard disk cannt access my computer.

Hello,i have problem with my newly bought of my WD external Hard Drive.I tried to stored my datas and upon i finished my downloading i tried to view if its is perfect.the stored datas that i down load was good. But after i log off my computer and try to look if its okey. The storage mas was not detected anymore.whats the cause of this problem.Thanks.IM jojo powao in the Phillipiones.Hope i got the best answer more power to this column.
