WD External Hard Drive unaccesable

I had a WD Elements 1 TB External Hard Disk. Now I couldn't able to access its contents. It is detectable in Device Managers and Devices and Printers. In its properties it shows that manufacture unavailable, model number unavailable, description unavailable but its status is The device is working properly. I can hear the hard disk is running but from time to time the power cuts and reboot.

did you check windows disk management to see if it shows up in there?

since it is powered by usb did you try to use another cable or port on the computer to it .
