WD external hdd and it Fall 1 times from my table

Hi, My Name is Oluwafemi Jonathan
I have a WD external hdd and it Fall 1 times from my table. And computer didn't
detect it anymore and it makes a noise like tik tak .
i don't want to lose my data. It's 2TB and I have done everything with
my computer but i don't think it's from the computer.
Can i do something or i have to take it to someone professional help ?

If it fell off the table, and is now making new noises (click click), and the PC no longer detects it...

There is pretty much nothing you can do at the consumer level.
It is a physical fail, not something software can fix.

The clicking sound your hearing is the heads arm in the hard drive, and is a clear sound of failure or failure to be terminal.
there is not much one can do, you can remove power and try to start it up again, maybe the head will park and reset itself and let you read the data off it, but likely the impact has dislodged the head off the arm. and that is terminal
