Hello,

After performing Userbench mark test, regarding to the HDD gave me the following results.

HDD: WD Green 2TB (2011) - 38.1%

I have to say that before performing the test, I made a clean regarding all the temporal files, and the unuseful files, that were located in my computer ( OS. Windows 7 Professional)

The other results the test retrive to me were:

UserBenchmarks: Game 20%, Desk 47%, Work 36%
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K - 66.5%
GPU: AMD HD 6790 - 13%
HDD: WD Green 2TB (2011) - 38.1%
RAM: Kingston 9905403-400.A00LF 4x4GB - 50.8%
MBD: Asus P8P67 PRO REV 3.1

One of the tasks I have pending for a inmediate future is to seek if there is any update of the firmware that can help to improve the speed of the disk.

What more else can I do to improve the performance of my HD?

Thanks and Happy New Year

Kind regards

The WD Green drive is a 5400rpm drive and was not meant to be a OS drive do to the FW which will spin down occasionally.

It was designed to be a secondary drive for data storage of files like backups, documents, videos, and pics.
