Hi guys,
I hope you can help because I'm in a bit of trouble. I have a 4Tb HDD installed on my system, and since last week I always get the message "The file <filename> is too large for the destination file system.".
Now, my drive is formatted in NTFS, so the FAT16/FAT32 problem is not the issue here. The strange thing is that I get it with all my files, be it a 1Gb file or a 2.2 Mb image.
When I save an image from the web I get the message "Filename is not valid." I can't save or copy anything to that drive anymore. It read files just fine. I'm stumped.
A bit of specs from my machine:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.10586 Build 10586 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard System Model HP Z800 Workstation System Type x64-based PC System SKU FF825AV Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @ 2.93GHz, 2927 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5670 @ 2.93GHz, 2927 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) BIOS Version/Date Hewlett-Packard 786G5 v03.07, 6/04/2010 SMBIOS Version 2.6 Embedded Controller Version 255.255 BIOS Mode Legacy BaseBoard Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard BaseBoard Model Not Available BaseBoard Name Base Board Platform Role Workstation Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 48,0 GB Total Physical Memory 48,0 GB Available Physical Memory 38,0 GB Total Virtual Memory 96,0 GB Available Virtual Memory 84,6 GB Page File Space 48,0 GB

EDIT: I'm running all kinds of malware detection and scans but nothing so far. When I tried to do a speedtest I've gotten the message the path was unspecified.
EDIT 2: It seems that all the folders on my hdd are set to "read only".
