Wd hard drive clicking sound

I also can't see my HD on the computer. Am I out of luck or can something be done?

did you install drivers?

also check another cable

check another USB port

if the drive's making a clicking sound, its close to failing or gone already....
your best bet is to somehow get the data off it before it bombs totally...
