[SOLVED] WD Hardrive Red Vs Blue

Hi,

I'm looking for a hard drive to store movies and files and I noticed that on Amazon the WD Red is only $5 more than the WD blue.

Besides the red being targeted for NAS setups which I don't intend to do, are there any differences? Should I opt for a red for more reliability or just go for blue?

I understand red are built for NAS, but "Do not buy red" just because it isn't for a NAS doesn't seem to make any sense. Any logical reasoning?

Anyway, I went with a standard 4Tb Seagate drive. But I read afterwards that for the same price I should have gotten red.

You can use google to see the difference between the 2.
I doubt you would see a diff for storage.
