I've been using my 1TB WD My Passport HD for more than a year now. I have always used the auto unlock feature on my laptop and it was working fine until yesterday. Once I plugged in the drive, it didn't auto unlock like it's supposed to. I've also been using an older my passport drive which doesn't make use of the auto unlock feature and it's still working as it should.
I remember setting the same password for both drives but for some reason, my 1TB drive always shows the 'invalid password' notif. Is there a way to view the wd auto unlock feature's password history or recover the files without erasing the data? I've tried setting the caps lock and it still didn't get in.
