wd my passport is detected but does not show up

My external accidentally fell from my bed and now it doesn't show up. I tried the disk manager but it says it's healthy. I also tried to quick drive test it in wd utilities drive but it does not run. What do I do? Please help I badly need it for my research files

andrea27rotilles, try the drive in another computer and see if you get the same symptoms. Drives are really susceptible to drops and vibrations and can lead to this situation you are facing. Best of luck.

Tried it with another computer and it has the same results. Should I seek a technician’s help now?
