WD My Passport not working ?

Hi,

Up until now I've been using a 1TB HD from WD My Passport without trouble. Recently however, it just isn't being displayed under Devices and Drives in My Computer.

I checked my device manager and it is listed under disk drives, without any errors or notifications. In fact I uninstalled the driver, unplugged it, restarted my computer, and plugged it back in only to have the same result.

My windows does recognize a USB device, and the light is on and the HDD is spinning, however it just isn't displaying... :S

Found an answer !

The issue was simply my drive had no assigned drive letter.
