WD My passport ultra 2 TB not shown on my computer after fall

Hi, I accidentally dropped my WD My Passport Ultra 2TB from a height of 1 feet. Since then the device is not visible on my computer. The led indicator is on when connected. Not able to initialise disk via disk management either. Tried using WD utilities, which showed smart status failure. It's been hardly 3 months since I bought this from UAE. M currently residing in Kerala, India. Need Help.

Was it being used when it fell? If yes, physical HD failure is probably the culprit. If the HD is under warranty, maybe plead your case with customer service. Whether they will replace or not replace the HD for free - I do not know.
