So I used this drive as an external storage for my xbox 360, and now I am trying to use on my Xbox one but it is not showing up. I am trying to see if I need to clear it to stock so the xbox one can format itself but the driver is not showing up in files

Hey there again, @TwistedTransistor!

Well, in this case, I'd recommend you backup all the important files from the WD My Passport on your computer and then re-format it through Disk Management there. After the re-formatting is complete, transfer back the files to the external drive and attempt to connect it to the Xbox One once again. Maybe the clean reformatting will help you detect the drive properly on the console.

Hope it works. Let me know how it goes. :)

Hey there, @TwistedTransistor!

I'd recommend you try to swap the USB cable that is connecting the WD My Passport and see if the Xbox One would recognize it then. If you haven't tried this already, you could also attempt to plug the external using a USB 3.0 Hub. I'd also suggest you go to All Settings > System > Storage > Manage storage in the Xbox one menu and see if the external drive is listed in the storage devices there.
I'd also advise you to check if you have everything up-to-date on the console info & updates as well. Are you able to access the WD My Passport on the Xbox 360 console?

Keep me posted with the troubleshooting!
