WD My Passport ultra not showing up on My PC

It shows up on My Devices, but not on My PC, therefore I can't open it. I tried to reformat the HD, but nothing. The computer reconizes that it's there as an external drive, but can't open it. Please help.

I'm truly sorry to hear about the issues you're having with the drive. Would you please open Disk Management and post a screenshot of what you see about the drive there (you can use imgur.com to upload the image). Have you had any issues with it prior to this problem? Any freezes, slow transfer speed, unusual sounds/noises, etc?
I'd recommend that you try the drive with a different computer and a different USB cable, to see if the same thing happens. I'd also recommend that you download DLG (Data Lifeguard Diagnostics) and run both tests (Quick and Extended), to see what's the situation with the HDD.
