WD My Passport Ultra not visible in Computer

my WD My Passport Ultra is not visible in computer..
Its not visible in Device manager also.
LED is blinking and disk is spinning in regular speed. I dnt see any weird noise.

Could you please suggest what to do. I tried removing the driver and next it could not load the driver from the harddisk.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the community, Lalata Indu!

It sounds like an inefficient power supply to the portable HDD to me! 🙁 I'd suggest you to try connecting the WD My Passport with a different USB cable and also to a different USB port on your computer. If you have access to another PC/laptop, I'd suggest you try plugging it there as well just to see if it will get properly recognized. Have you also checked Disk Management for the WD My Passport?

I'd also recommend you to check the motherboard/computer manufacturer's website and try updating the USB hub drivers for your model from there, rather than letting Windows Updates take care of them.
