Wd mybook 500gb studio estata windows 7

Hello,
I just purchased the wd mybook 500gb studio e stata and using it with windows 7. When i try to access the drive it say's. "please insert a disk into removable drive"..

Format.

I assume you don't have any data in the drive, since it's new - so formatting the drive should be a worth try.

Sometimes mybook can appear as 2 drives after installation. Check that and be sure you access to the one for the data storage.
