Hi,

I have external HDD WD Mybook. When I connect this book to the laptop during eSATA, HDD works (wite and read). But when I connect it during USB 2.0, the laptop cant find this HDD. I tried change cable, ports, and computer. Does anyone where is problem and how can I fix it?

Thank you.

Welcome to the community, Tomas!

I'm really sorry to hear about your connectivity issues with the WD My Book through the USB 2.0. I'd recommend you to check Disk Management while connected via USB and see if it shows up at least there. Another thing you could try is uninstalling and then re-installing the WD external from Device Manager. ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725782.aspx )
Since you are able to access it via eSATA, I'd strongly recommend you to backup any important data from the external HDD somewhere else before proceeding with the troubleshooting.

Keep me posted!
Cheers,
