1.5 years ago I bought a WD my passport ultra 2TB black drive. Its been working alright but since I don't know... perhaps a year it only works if i plug it into a usb 2.0 port.
Does not work when I plug it in a usb 3.0 port.
Now 2 days ago i bought an other WD my passport ultra 4TB RED drive. It works fine when i plug it in a usb 3.0 port.
SO if tried to plug the old drive in a usb 3.0 port with the cable from the new drive. This doesn't work aswell.
Which concludes me the problem is with the Drive itself. Not the cable, neither my pc.
I even tried remove the driver with device manager and auto reinstall but also no fix. Now I want my drive to work properly again...
