WD RE Drives in new Dell or HP server

Hi
If i want to buy my own disks (don go with the Dell or HP branded disk is that working with the servers/controllers listed below?
Someone that have tested?

The disks I want to use are:
WD RE 3.5" 4TB 7200RPM SATA/600 64MB

The servers I thinking about to use is on of following:
DELL POWEREDGE R520 Disk controller: H310
Or
HP PROLIANT DL380E GEN8 Disk controller: B320i

I can't speak for the HP, but the Dell H310 should have no problem using them. I don't think you can mix SATA and SAS on the same card, but if you're replacing all the drives, just keep them all SATA and you should be fine.

I'd be contacting Dell to make sure the controller will work with drives larger than 2TB first.
