hi guys, i want to ask about WD Caviar Blue - 7200rpm SATA drive.

in WD software called WD Data life guard, My SATA Caviar blue detected as a IDE device, i'm sure my setting in bios already right (i put that in AHCI mode).

this is the picture :

also in Disk Drive in Device manager, my device detected as SCSI drive. really, what's wrong with this? should it should be detected as ATA-Device?.

pls help

Mine is already detected as SATA 6gb/s in speccy but it still said SCSI , it said like this : 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-22BN5A0 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)

but why my drive detected as SCSI in device manager & Speccy, isn't SCSI & SATA different?

I'm wondering if maybe there is something wrong with WD's Data LifeGuard.
I have a WD1003FZEX. The device manager shows SATA Disk Device, but WD DLG is showing IDE.

When you removed the Intel Rapid Storage issue, did Data LifeGuard still say IDE or SATA?
