Question wd sn750 2tb slow on raid sync ?

Hi,

i test install centos 8 with mdadm raid on e5 2680 v4 and the pcie is x4.

when i repace new nvme with 980 pro 2tb or 970 evo 2tb,and resync,
the speed are about 1600-1800mb/s.

but when i replace with wd sn750 2tb and resync,
the speed only about 1000mb/s even i try to on diffent pcie lan.

is it possible any reason about it ?

If you compare the specs on the manufacturer's product pages, the WD Black SN750 is inherently slower than those two Samsung SSDs.

SSD performance depends on make/model ----- they aren't all equal even if they are the same type with the same connectivity.
