Hello there! I just buy this M.2 NVMe SSD and ran Crystal Mark 7. The results where, in comparison of others result's I've seen around the net, extremely slow. Previously I've own a Samsung 850 EVO SSD, and the speeds were something about 300MB/S lower than this WD.

Here are the screenshots of both drives results:

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

My specs:
I7 4790K
8GB DDR3 1866
Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 Bios F7 (last one stable)
Win 10 Pro just installed

Thanks a lot!

You have dated system. Your motherboard doesn't support full speed of PCIE 3.0 x4 nvme drives.
Looks like it's operating at PCIE 2.0 x2 mode.

If you wish to run your M.2 drive at full speed, you could install pcie M.2 adapter in second x16 PCIE slot.
This would halve available pcie lanes on first PCIE x16 slot though.

Yes, this mobo has a few years.

In the PCIe Slot I have a RX570... you mention to get an adapter into the 2nd. PCIe, but.... is there any cons? Speed of the #1 PCIe would be affected, right?

Thanks!
