Hello everyone

Just yesterday updated my HP 15-CS0053cl laptop to nvme SSD but the read speeds are not reaching more than 1.7GB/s and there is no option in bios for hardware settings, kindly help me to get the max use of my SSD

It could be caused by the M.2 slot in your laptop if it is limited to PCIE 3.0 X 2. You need to have a PCIE 3.0 X 4 slot to get read speeds of 3.4GB/s.

Yup. Looks like you are on pcie3.0 /x 4. Were you plugged in with a good charge on your battery when you took the tests in case it was throttling due to low charge?

I have a similar SSD on my desktop (WDS500G2X0C-00L350 500.1 gb) and Crystaldiskmark reports 3.4GB/s random read.

Sorry, I guess I can't help you with settings. I get the feeling that somehow your system is operating on X2 even though it is capable of X4, and Crystaldiskinfo and Crystaldiskmark say you are operating on X4. So my only thought is to work on tracking that down. One thought might be to try a different speed detection program to see if it agrees with Crystaldiskmark.
