I have a shucked WD white 8TB. Its SMART status is perfect but I can't initialize the drive anymore. It doesn't show up in explorer and I can't format the drive because i can't initialize it.

Looks like it's dead even though i can read the smart status and it says it is at 100% ?

Can I even RMA a shucked WD white?

In Windows, open a CMD with Admin privileges. Type in DiskPart. Use help for the commands to see if drive shows up with a Volume. If it does, then you can assign a drive letter and repartition the disk, which is basically a format anyways as it destroys the links to the old data.
