I have mixed these product codes in a Buffalo Terastation NAS, it seems to work well but I couldn't find around the difference in specs between those. Thanks, Mario

Solution D Deleted member 217926 Jun 18, 2010 http://www.wdc.com/en/library/2579-001028.pdf The "Model Number Suffix" section should answer your question. I believe it relates to manufacturing.....what factory ect. The drives are the same model and should work fine together in RAID.
