WD5000E035 take apart and put in computer?

Hi everybody. I have a WD5000E035 that the power cord died on, which seems to be a common problem for this particular drive. I have another external drive so I don't need to spend the money to buy a replacement, if I can somehow get my data off this one. Is it possible to take this drive apart and hook it up directly to my computer somehow so i can copy my data to my other external drive?

I think that is actually an IDE drive in the box. Take it out and connect to your desktop as a slave drive or buy a different external box to put drive in and get rid of the one WD supplied.
