So currently I'm having some issues with my PSU so this might be the reason why my SSD is making noises. correct me if I'm wrong. But whenever I'm downloading something the noise gets louder and when I scroll on a page it makes a higher pitched noise every time I scroll. I managed to record the sound here.

I've checked my GPU and other components and it's not it. But as mentioned before I'll be getting a new PSU today because mine like grumbles at times.

PC Specs:
Motherboard: B450 Pro Carbon AC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
GPU: Rx 6650 xt
RAM: G.Skill RipJaw V 3000 mhz
PSU: MasterWatt 650W Bronze 80+ (Will be upgrading to a Super Flower Leadex III)

have you contacted Western Digital as they might replace it if its under warranty.

the power problem might have damaged the drive. I don't know if I would put a new drive in until PSU replaced.
Bad PSU can kill all sorts of parts. I had one kill 3 HDD in a row, about 20 years ago...
