Question WDS bridging troubleshooting between TL-MR3220 and ML108

So, I tried to connect thru WDS protocol this two routers mentioned in the thread tittle, but keeps giving me irregular connection until it doesn't connect at all.

I firstly put the secondary router under the IP address: 192.168.1.150

The IP address range in the main router goes from: 192.168.1.2 thru 192.168.1.199

Then made the WDS connection.

And finally disabled the DHCP protocol on this router.

Please help me. I´ve tried everything to fix this.

Could it be the main router that its too old to take this WDS configuration.

Have you tried another known working ethernet cable between main router and secondary router?

What ports did you use to connect the two routers?

Did you reserve the secondary router's static IP address (192.168.1.150) on the main router via the secondary router's MAC?

And that static IP address should be outside of the DHCP IP address range allowed to the main router.

Do you need that many DHCP addresses?

If not, change the main router's DHCP IP range to something like 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.199 and then use 192.168.1.2 as the static IP reserved for the secondary router.

Have you tried another known working ethernet cable between main router and secondary router?
I did the connection wirelessly because both routers are separated about 100ft from each other, so ethernet cable connection is not that simple or practical.

What ports did you use to connect the two routers?
Not doing the connection via cable this question is null.

Did you reserve the secondary router's static IP address (192.168.1.150) on the main router via the secondary router's MAC?
Didn't knew you have to reserve it, just thought it will assigned that IP address and renew the permit constantly and that´s it.

And that static IP address should be outside of the DHCP IP address range allowed to the main router.

I followed your suggestion, changed the DHCP IP range of main router to 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.199 and changed the secondary one to 192.168.1.2 and reserved that IP address in the main router.

Do you believe this will allow the connection not to drop? It usually dropped about 3 or 4 hours since the secondary router was rebooted. So I guess I will have to see how it behaves.
