Hi,

I live in a large bungalow and the wifi from my virgin media hub 3 is really bad and leaving alot of deadspots.
I can get 600mbps wired to my PC but everywhere is shocking.

Can anyone give me some advice to improve this please? New router/Mesh/Hardwire everywhere?

Thanks :)

Solution
Do you have coaxial outlets in other parts of the house? These outlets are used for cable or satellite tv, but can be repurposed to hardwire ethernet using a protocol called MOCA. Having some satellite units spread throughout the house with wired backhaul will give you the best wifi performance.

Virgin Media allows you to set them in modem mode. So you can use whatever router or wifi system you want: https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-media-hub-modem-mode

The best home network is to wire EVERYTHING that is stationary. Then have multiple WIFI sources with wired connection to the primary router, geographically distributed around your house.
