Weapon question

I'm master fencer and have some problems when buying the good weapon for me.
Let's say there is three weapons: first is stun baton 164-350 spd 3.1, the
second is 220-270 spd.2.5, and the third is 174-220 spd 2.1. Which one baton
is better in PvP and why? Is there any _simple_ (without inputing 100 or
more data into) calculator to check that stuff? How can I calculate DPS?

My second question is directed to armorsmith: I've got some aklay bones, how
can I calculate its output damage for aklay stun baton ? Let's say I have
aklay bone 74/150 and 110/120. I just want to know what damage I can get
before I buy those damn expensive aklay bones. Once, I gave one good aklay
bone to an good armorsmith and he gave me back not so good stun baton, I
think he cheated me - so its important for me question....

ps. I'm don't using any AA/AC speed boosting tapes.

Many of your opponents will have damage mitigation if they are high
enough in their respective combat profession skill tree. That means the
first stun baton will have it's max damage value effectively lowered (but
that stun baton still looks good for PvE). While the second item has
narrow min-max range of damage and high enough min damage value.

Since you are master fencer, the difference in speed between second and
third items means nothing to you - you'll be working at your speed cap
anyway.

So I'd say definitely second item for PvP.

This is my personal opinion, don't hold me to it.

I'd vote for the 220-270 one. Why? It has a much narrower range of
damage, which leads to more consistant damage. If you want the max
damage that you can get, go with the 164-350. Low hits will be low, but
those high hits will be devastating.
