Hi there,

Mrs wants to start a simple website, a kind of ecological goods online store. We have never done anything like this before and were a bit confused with the whole web host and domain name routine. Can anyone with experience recommend a good site (for UK based store) that provides a simple to use web site builder and domain name purchase.

Try starting at https://wordpress.com/ and see if they have things for UK.

That looks ideal but a little more expensive than we had hoped. I had seen some that offer fees as low as 80p a month, obviously that's because they don't offer very much but to start i didn't want to go over about £30-35 for a year.
