I've recently bought a Dongle for my desktop and pages aren't loading properly. For example, pictures and images either don't load properly and have pink checker board or grey halves to them or they just don't load at all. Also Youtube videos do not want to load and the steam app thing on my computer won't load images properly either, I can't even download games from steam? I don't know if this is just a problem with the internet recently, as my house mates have been having slow connections but nothing near what I have. Everything offline works properly, as in images load properly and I can play all my games etc. I've tried both with IE and Chrome and the same thing happens, I believe it has something to do with internet connectivity as steam has problems. If anyone could help me with out with this that would be great! I have run a bunch of antivirus/anti-malware programs and nothing has come up :/
Thanks

Sorry about the lack of info, yeah a Dongle as in a wireless connection for my PC. Found out my house mate has the same problem with images too so I believe it is an actual router/internet problem, the internet is shared between 5 of us. Don't actually know the model of the Dongle but my flat mate uses a laptop and his having similar issues.

It might be an interference with another wifi network. Change the wifi channels in your router setup to solve this. It might also be a general bandwidth problem caused by to many devices using the network at a time or one device using to much bandwidth.

I've tried different solutions for my problem but it's still not working. Images don't load properly, youtube videos won't load and I can't download any games from steam. I will try and connect my desktop directly to the router using an ethernet cable and see if that works. Could there be any hardware failure that could cause this? Or maybe a virus that my computer hasn't detected

edit: could this be a problem with my graphics card artifacting? Or does that only occur while playing games/watching videos offline?
