[SOLVED] Webcam or Go-Pro?

Hello forums,

I practice martial arts and the whole covid issue has resulted in classes being done over zoom.

I'd like to both record my sessions at a high level of fidelity for personal and class scrutiny and be able to handle low-light (class is typically around 6-7 p.m.) outdoor streaming--less of an issue during the summer but winter with daylight savings only leaves me with a porch light.

With these in mind, what should I use? A webcame? A Go-Pro?

What purchasing questions should I be asking when I look into this more?

Anything y'all can help with would be awesome!

Newer GoPros also offer much higher frame-rate options than you are likely to get with a webcam. Some of the newer models can do up to 240fps at 1080p. That might potentially be useful for playing back video smoothly in slow-motion. It's possible that you might need somewhat better lighting for high frame-rate recording though.
